The Chiefs continued to convert three more pivotal third downs on this drive, which culminated in a game-sealing 9-yard scramble by Mahomes on

Mahomes exhibited remarkable resilience, overcoming two first-half interceptions to make crucial plays down the stretch that ultimately secured the victory. Reflecting on his performance, Mahomes said, “I’ve just learned that you can only control the next play… Nothing in the past matters. Linebacker Drue Tranquill commented on the team’s resilience, stating, “The biggest thing was [Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo] came in the locker room and told us that we still needed to play with the confidence and trust in one another that we’ve had throughout this entire season. “I believe you witnessed our resolve in the second half, and we successfully sealed the deal.”
