Stevens also revealed earlier this year that he had been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, a neurological disorder that involves the immune system attacking the peripheral nervous system. Due to this health challenge, he had been absent from the promotional cycle for “Javelin” as he underwent intense physical therapy to regain control over his body.
In a subsequent Tumblr post on October 5, Stevens announced his departure from hospital treatment and expressed his gratitude for the support he had received. He concluded with a message of goodwill, saying, “Pray for the peace of the world. Be well. Be safe. Be yourself.”
