Varun Dhawan has joined the chorus of praise for Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Jawan,’ expressing his delight after watching it. The actor likened the experience to being a child in a candy store.

 

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ is enjoying widespread acclaim and tremendous success at the box office. The film has garnered praise not only from fans but also from numerous celebrities. Varun Dhawan, who recently viewed the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, shared his thoughts on the film via X (formerly Twitter). He commended King Khan for his performance as both an actor and a superstar. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is gearing up to collaborate with ‘Jawan’ director Atlee for his 18th Bollywood project, tentatively titled ‘VD 18.’

 

‘Jawan’ has emerged as a box office sensation, surpassing the coveted Rs 600-crore milestone worldwide in just six days.In India, the film is edging closer to the Rs 350-crore milestone. After viewing the action-packed extravaganza, Varun Dhawan shared his thoughts on X, declaring, “#Jawan is a blockbuster! @iamsrk shines as both an actor and a superstar. I had so much fun; it felt like being a child in a candy store. Every moment was impeccably crafted by @Atlee_dir… Anna, what a fantastic job, sir! Superb stuff (sic).”

 

About ‘Jawan,’ directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee, the film hit theaters worldwide on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions. This high-octane action thriller features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, along with a special appearance by Deepika Padukone. At its core, ‘Jawan’ is a father-son story that addresses various social and political issues through its protagonist, portrayed by Shah Rukh. The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Mukesh Chhabra, and a cameo by Sanjay Dutt.

 

‘Jawan’ is presented by Red Chillies Entertainment and produced by Gauri Khan, with Gaurav Verma as co-producer. The film is a commercial entertainer, featuring SRK in a dual role, and it was filmed in various locations, including Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Aurangabad. Anirudh Ravichander made his solo debut as a Bollywood composer for the film.
